Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Stephen Moore (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the DataCentral iOS app (“DataCentral”).
Information we collect
Product analytics. DataCentral uses PostHog (US Cloud) to understand how the app is used and to improve features. When you use the app, we may collect:
- An anonymous device identifier
- App usage events (for example: app opens, tab views, share actions, paywall views, and subscription-related taps)
- Limited event properties (for example: plan type or share surface)
- Basic device and app technical information provided by the analytics SDK (such as OS version and app version)
We do not collect your name, email address, or precise location for analytics. We do not use session replay or advertising tracking identifiers for cross-app advertising.
DataCentral Assistant
If you use DataCentral Assistant (Pro), your questions and a compact snapshot of in-app context (for example: watched entities, Race ranks, Grid stress for watched states, Time-to-Power rows, and recent Pulse headlines) are sent to our Cloudflare Worker and processed by Cloudflare Workers AI to generate a reply. We use this only to answer your question. Do not include passwords, API keys, or unrelated personal information in prompts.
Push notifications
If you allow notifications, Apple issues your device a push token, and we store that token on our Cloudflare Worker together with an anonymous device identifier and your device’s UTC offset. The UTC offset is a number of minutes, not a location — we store it only so the weekly digest arrives in the morning where you are rather than in the middle of the night. We do not store your coordinates, city, or time zone name.
We use the token solely to send the notifications you have enabled in Settings → Notifications. Turning notifications off in iOS Settings, deleting the app, or using Reset Session in the app stops delivery; a token Apple reports as no longer valid is deleted from our store automatically.
Subscriptions and purchases
In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to help manage subscription status. Purchase processing is subject to Apple’s and RevenueCat’s privacy practices.
Information you provide
If you add custom data centers or connect a live telemetry endpoint that you control, that configuration and related metrics stay on your device and/or are fetched from endpoints you specify. We do not operate those telemetry endpoints.

- To operate and improve DataCentral
- To understand feature usage and conversion funnels
- To maintain subscriptions and Pro entitlements
- To deliver the notifications you have enabled
Sharing
We share analytics data with PostHog as our processor. See PostHog’s privacy policy. Assistant prompts and context are processed by Cloudflare Workers AI under Cloudflare’s terms. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Data retention
Analytics events are retained according to our PostHog project settings and applicable law. You can delete the app at any time to stop further collection from that device.
Children
DataCentral is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Your choices
You can turn off product analytics in Settings → Privacy when the toggle is available, or uninstall the app. You can avoid Assistant processing by not using DataCentral Assistant. Apple also provides system privacy controls related to App Store and tracking preferences on your device.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective” date above will change when we do. Continued use of DataCentral after an update means you accept the revised policy.
