These Terms of Use govern your use of the DataCentral iOS app provided by Stephen Moore (“we”, “us”). By using DataCentral, you agree to these Terms.
The service
DataCentral provides information and tools related to data center and grid infrastructure, including curated public information, optional custom sites, and optional Pro features such as live telemetry connections you configure.
No professional advice
DataCentral is for informational purposes. Content may include industry benchmarks, curated public announcements, and third-party data (including grid data). It is not investment, legal, engineering, or operational advice. Do not rely on it as the sole basis for decisions.
Accuracy and availability
We strive to keep information useful, but we do not guarantee completeness, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. Features that depend on third-party sources may be delayed, incomplete, or unavailable.
Subscriptions
Some features require a paid DataCentral Pro subscription. Purchases are billed through your Apple ID and managed by Apple. Refunds and cancellations follow Apple’s policies.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse DataCentral, attempt to disrupt the service, abuse APIs or proxies used by the app, or use the app for unlawful purposes.
Live telemetry
If you connect a live metrics endpoint, you are responsible for that endpoint, its security, and any data it exposes. Only connect endpoints you control or are authorized to use.
Intellectual property
DataCentral and its original content, branding, and software are owned by Stephen Moore or its licensors. You may not copy or redistribute the app except as allowed by Apple’s App Store terms.
Disclaimer
DataCentral is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of DataCentral.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective” date above will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
